Living Water Church at the Beach focuses on reaching people in Mexico Beach Florida, and all along the Unforgettable Coast, with the Good News that God loves us so much His Son Jesus Christ died for our sins and that He has a great plan for our lives.
We don’t have a traditional church building and simply worship weekly on the sand at Sunset Park at the west of the El Governor Hotel. Our worship services begin at 8 AM CT (March through November; 9 AM CT from December through February) on Sunday mornings and the dress is very casual. You’re invited to bring your own beach chair or blanket. But if not, we do have some available. In case of rain or temperatures below 50 degrees, we move our worship indoors at our 1602 Highway 98 facility (located across the street from the east end of the El Governor Hotel).
God loves you! He loves you no matter what, no matter what you’ve done, no matter where you’re at or where you’ve been. He loves you in His Son Jesus and wants to be in a meaningful relationship with you.
Through the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus, He offers you forgiveness, new life for today and a place with Him eternally when this life is over.
One of the clearest Bible passages that tell us about how God cares about us all is this: “For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him.” – John 3:16-17
The Beliefs of Living Water Church:
- We believe in the Triune God: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
- We believe that Baptism is for everyone at all ages, including infants.
- We believe that Christ’s Body and Blood are truly present in Holy Communion.
- We believe that the only way to heaven is through faith in Jesus Christ.
- We believe that the Bible is the inspired word of God with no mistakes.
Statements of faith have been written by Christians since Jesus ascended into heaven. Around 150 A .D. the Apostles Creed was used by new Christians to publicly express their faith before they were baptized. We at Living Water Church use the Apostles Creed as one statement of what we believe.

I believe in God, the Father Almighty, Maker of heaven and earth,
And in Jesus Christ, His only Son, our Lord: Who was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died, and was buried. He descended into hell. On the third day, He rose again from the dead. He ascended into heaven and sits at the right hand of God the Father Almighty, from there He shall come to judge the living and the dead.
I believe in the Holy Spirit, the Holy Christian Church, the communion of saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body, and the life everlasting.
