Beginning Sunday, August 30, 2015, Living Water is going on a journey together through “The Story.” Over 31 weeks, we’re going to see the great lengths God goes to rescue lost and hurting people.
Each of the weeks from September to November and January to April, we’ll be immersed in the central events and characters in the story of the Bible from Genesis to Revelation. It’s the story of God’s great love affair with humanity.
To help us stay together on the journey, we’ll be updating our website weekly with updates on our Bible studies that you can download and video summaries of the parts of God’s story that we covered that week. We’re looking forward to see how God will work in each of our lives through the amazing story of God’s grace from Creation to Christ and the cross to Christ’s second coming. Because, in our baptisms through faith, God makes us part of His story.
The series is based on “The Story” — an abridged, chronological edition of the NIV Bible. We were able to secure copies of the story through Christianbook.com for $5 (plus shipping). If you want to follow along, you can order a copy through their website or we have hardcover copies available at Living Water.
Special Note: We’ll be setting aside “The Story” series during the month of December to celebrate the Advent & Christmas season.
